Meg has toured the United States and Mexico. She recently returned from Turkey studying and teaching Roma style clarinet. She loves teaching ensembles and can connect all the pieces for you. You'll learn rhythmic and melodic combinations, some simple tunes, how to accompany dancers, and how to recognize rhythmic shapes. She'll also teach how to improvise using the bass of percussion patterns. Melody players will get guidance how to create emotive yet cohesive taksims (improvised melodies) for instrumentals or for dancer's solos.
